We just spent 3 busy days in Paris. We did everything on our list except 2 items that we're saving for our next 3 days there. We still need to see Paris at night, and we need to go to the musems. We are staying in a hotel that is just across the "rue" from the Hotel du Parc. Both hotels face a fenced in park. We decided to stay in the same location because we finally got oriented to the train / subway routes for the area.

The four of us took the train from Paris to Cannes, where Sue and Clay met us at the station. After Sue spent 5 minutes leading Connie and Sheila up and down the stairs (yes, they were carrying their suitcases) while she tried to remember where she parked. In Paris, they start with floor zero, the second floor is floor one, etc. Sue went up one level when she entered, and her car was NOT on the 2nd floor. I do see where it could get confusing.

Today, we all got up late and went to the town of Valbonne for shopping and lunch. Then we went to the local market and stocked up on wine and food. Tomorrow we'll start sightseeing again, but it was just too tempting to relax for a while in a "normal" environment.

It's Saturday and we are headed to Antibes for the afternoon. We just did a quick post of pics and will add more later.
