Pre Trip Fiasco

Today is departure date minus 7. Angie had a brain storm and decided I should blog our adventures. She created me this blog site. Of course, first she had to explain what a blog was. Now she's trying to train me on how to update it.

Here's the best (and only) picture of me that resides on my PC. (Yeah...... it's pathetic!) It was taken this Easter in the Foxboro Park.

We got a note from Sue today. She is looking forward to us getting there for our visit. She did say it's been raining there and Clay is getting ready to go to Helsinki for a week, and needs clean underwear. So, she's washing underwear and drying them with a hair dryer.

In case you didn't know, they have washing machines, but most people don't have dryers. Needless to say, we'll all taking brand-new underwear with us on our trip. No one wants to see ragged holey underwear hanging on the line. I've been shopping like crazy, buying new capris and spring type clothes to take with me. Sue's note today said it's been in the 50 & 60's and raining. (SIGH) Now I've got to reconsider everything I bought.

I'm signing off for today. I'm sure tomorrow will bring more exciting pre trip events.
